Insight Marine works across a wide range of sectors including the energy sector ( offshore wind, wave energy, and Oil & Gas), port infrastructure, shipping, fishing, and aquaculture. It is essential that we harvest the potential resources of our oceans in a sustainable way that recognises the complexity and biodiversity of this ecosystem. This requires an appreciation of the interfaces between all of our marine users such that we can grow the Blue Economy while respecting the need for coexistence.

Fixed Offshore Wind
We provide expert consultancy and engineering services to the fixed bottom offshore wind sector, including supporting developers, governments, and supply chain companies. Our knowledge, insights, and experience are the foundation that enables us to create value for our clients. Our team has supported over 50GW of fixed bottom offshore wind projects around the world - we have a deep understanding of the technical and commercial criteria that lead to successful project delivery.

Floating Offshore Wind
Floating wind energy remains relatively immature compared to fixed bottom offshore wind, however within this sector Insight Marine supports technology analysis, commercial due diligence, and project support services to enable floating wind projects move from demonstration scale to full scale delivery.

Ports and Harbours
Insight Marine Offers a wide range of services to support the port and harbour sector including planning services, feasibility studies, detailed design and engineering, and socio-economic assessments to support changes in use.

Wave & Tidal Energy
Wave and tidal energy require detailed assessment of both the technical criteria as well as the energy yield and resulting Levelized Cost of Energy (LCOE). Insight Marine offers a holistic assessment of all aspects of marine renewables.

Transmission Assets
The world is moving to an increased level of connectivity which includes a complex system of subsea power and communication cables as well as offshore substations. The increased distances also mean a move from AC to DC technology. Insight Marine provides consultancy support to both transmission and communication networks offshore. This includes supporting the installation and maintenance/operation of offshore assets.
